  • Elders of Concern Program: The Brewster Council on Aging prepares seniors for an emergency, such as severe weather, by compiling a list of community members that could use assistance during an emergency. This list is called Elders of Concern. Typical members of this group live alone, are disabled, use oxygen or other special medical equipment. Seniors can be added to this list by contacting the us and request to be added. Once on this list the Brewster Council of Aging or a member of Brewster Public Safety will contact these individuals prior to an emergency to ensure they are properly prepared and often after an emergency to ensure they are ok.
